Musician, performer, and improvising artist Pablo Gīw was born & is based in Cologne, Germany. His works include experimental urban music, dark jazz, noise and ambient music, lyrics, music & performances in theatre and dance as well as music for trumpet, his main instrument.

The multifaceted nature of his work led to the release of his solo debut album Never is Always. With the Berlin multidisciplinary performer & dancer Kelvin Kilonzo he founded the project SUM which is a performance duo as well as a platform for film and media art collaborations. Together with media artist Maurits Boettger, they created the film Dyschronia which premiered at Julia Stoschek Foundation Berlin.

Gīw startet the ecstatic noise quartet Stellar Banger with musicians Abed Kobeissy, Ali Hout and Joss Turnbull and released the release Data is on ruptured records, Beirut. With New York cellist & improviser Mariel Roberts Gīw released the improvised duo album Kryo. Further collaborations include outstanding improvising musicians like Belgian bassist Farida Amadou, Swiss drummer Jessie Cox, violinist Biliana Voutchkova and the duo Granular Epic with fellow trumpeter Brad Henkel from Berlin. At city theater Schauspiel Köln and at Burgtheater Vienna, Gīw created and perfoms the music for the productions King Lear. Pablo Gīw was awardee of the NICA artist development program by the state of NRW, Germany between 2019-2023.
